PAMELA Nash MP joined the children of Papillon Nursery at Eurocentral to celebrate World School Milk Day.
The day encourages children to drink milk, which is provided free in the UK for children under five in day-care or primary education and subsidised for those aged 5-11, and aims to educate them about the health benefits..
Papillon Nursery promotes milk as part of its healthy school status.
Miss Nash, whose Airdrie and Shotts constituency takes in Holytown, said: “It was great to visit Papillion Nursery and see such happy kids.
“They clearly enjoyed their milk and I certainly enjoyed seeing their drawings showing why they like milk.”
