IT was sunshine smiles all the way at Lawmuir Primary School on Saturday as the annual family fun day took place in the school grounds.
Organised by the Friends of Lawmuir parent teacher association, the event raised around £1,200 to help fund various projects at the school.
The glorious weather played a huge part in pulling the crowds and helping to make the day so successful.
Activities ranged from fairground rides, bouncy castle and face painting to table top sales, stand-up bingo and a bean eating competition.
There were also contributions from community police and Strathclyde Fire and Rescue and there was also a visit from Strathclyde Park rangers who ran an eco-diversity event.
