Justice done as vets get cheque

North Lanarkshire Council restorative justice staff embraced everything purple to raise £545 for the Erskine Charity.

The staff, based in Hunter Street, Bellshill, wore purple for the day, held a raffle and sold homebaking.

The event was the brainchild of admin worker Margaret McNeilly (right) who wanted to support the ‘Proud to be Purple’ campaign for care and support of the veterans’ work at Erskine,
