Stephen O’Neill, a North Lanarkshire Council housing officer based in Viewpark, has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
The TIS National Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding work of those who are committed to making a true difference within the Scottish housing sector.
The service delivery coordinator has been nominated in the Tenant Participation Champion category sponsored by the Scottish Government.
Des Murray, newly appointed assistant chief executive of the council, said: “I am delighted Stephen has been nominated for this award.
“It reflects the hard work and dedication he puts into helping local people find solutions to their housing needs.”
Also nominated for an award is Motherwell-based Clyde Valley Customer Panel in the Most Inspiring Scrutiny Group.
The results will be announced at a ceremony hosted by radio presenter Cat Harvey at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld on Saturday, June 11.
