Hirta crew member success
A Lewis woman currently working as part of the crew on the Hirta has confirmed she has passed the ship's cook certificate course.
Hannah Gillies undertook the course through Dumfries and Galloway College via an online self-study course with a theory and practical test hosted in Stranraer.
Hannah has spoken of her delight at passing the course just over a year since joining the crew as a temporary steward initially.
