MOTHERWELL support worker Gordon Morrison will find out tonight (Thursday) if he is the recipient of a Scottish Health Award 2011.
Gordon will attend a glittering award ceremony in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange to find out if he has won a Support Worker Award.
He was selected by judges as a finalist for his long-standing dedication to helping people with mental illness.
Over 20 years Gordon has helped men in Lanarkshire with mental health illnesses to improve their self esteem and confidence through activities.
He has set up five-a-side football teams, walking groups, fishing trips and Christmas lunches and parties.
Gordon also gives his time to one-to-one activities to help men.
