The quality of care and support provided across Motherwell, Bellshill and Wishaw areas was graded as excellent by inspectors, the highest accolade that can be given.

The quality of the staff and of their management and leadership were both praised as well, and listed very good.

In particular, inspectors remarked on the way the Scott Street-based care team, led by owner Ian McLaren involves service users in making decisions about the care they receive.

Mr McLaren said: “It’s especially pleasing to get such a good report after a surprise visit.

“It just goes to show how consistently skilled and committed my team is, and that local people and their families can rely on us absolutely.”
