An information event will be held in Motherwell for residents and businesses to learn more about the impact of the Commonwealth Games events taking place in Strathclyde Park.

North Lanarkshire Council and Glasgow 2014 will host the event on Wednesday, April 2, in Dalziel High School from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Residents and businesses in the area around the park, along with community groups and local councillors, are invited to attend.

Strathclyde Park is the venue for the men’s and women’s individual triathlons on July 24 and the team relay on July 26.

At the event there will be information about the Commonwealth Games and the impact on traffic and transport as well as support and advice for businesses.
