TWO local DJs are preparing to take centre stage at Scotland’s biggest dance festival.
Andy Raeside, from Motherwell, and Gary Livingstone, of Newarthill, will take to the decks at Coloursfest this weekend.
The event will take place at Braehead Arena and Waterfront on Saturday, with the local lads sharing the bill with the likes of Paul van Dyk, Laidback Luke and Clyde 1 favourite George Bowie.
And both can’t wait to get in front of the crowds.
Andy said: “We have worked long and hard to get this opportunity.
“I will be playing in the house arena alongside some of the world’s biggest house DJs such as Mark Knight, Tommy Trash and John Dahlback, and Gary will be headlining the house hut along with a host of Scottish talent.”
Gary added: “I have been DJ-ing for two years and lucky to be where I am today.
“I started in Mega Bar in Motherwell doing every Saturday night.
“I then moved on to do events for Andy. He influenced and encouraged me from day one, and I would like to thank him for where I am today.”
