A Celtic fan who caused trouble in Motherwell before a game at Fir Park has been fined £1,000 at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
However, Rogan Craik (21), of Perth, dodged a football banning order. He admitted brandishing an umbrella, shouting abuse and trying to start fights on December 6 last year.
The court heard of trouble as Celtic fans made their way through Brandon Parade and the Brandon Street underpass towards the stadium.
A previous trial was told of fighting between rival fans in Windmillhill Street
Celtic supporters caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to seats at Fir Park that night.
More from the court in the Times & Speaker, out every Wednesday.
