Police have appealed for witnesses after a pharmacy in Bellshill was robbed at knifepoint last weekend.
Two members of staff were threatened by a knife-wielding attacker who then made off with cash and pharmaceutical products.
The robbery took place at a pharmacy in the town’s North Road around 7.15pm last Saturday.
A male suspect entered the store before brandishing a knife at two members of staff working inside - a 21-year-old female and a 40-year-old male.
He robber demanded money and pharmaceutical products before making off. The two members of staff were unhurt.
The suspect is described as being male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’11” tall, of slim build with a pale complexion described as having a ‘drug user appearance’.
He was wearing a dark grey Berghaus-type hooded jacket with a dark coloured panel across the shoulders, a scarf which was covering his mouth and light coloured jeans.
