Arrests in Bellshill

Police made two arrests in Bellshill at the weekend after two separate incidents came to the attention of officers.

The first arrest which was made in Mosshill Road on Saturday (April 10) relates to a 32-year old man who was allegedly involved in what police referred to as “production of drugs.”

The drug in question is believed to be cannabis.

A 24-year-old man was also arrested after a spate of anti-social behaviour including vandalism on Sunday (April 11) at Fleming Road.

Reports on both these incidents have been sent to the procurator fiscal in Hamilton.
