Arrest made in Motherwell after motorist (59) was spied drinking
A 59-year-old man was arrested in Motherwell after police received a tip-off that men were drinking alcohol in a car.
The alleged incident occurred around 5.45pm on Sunday (March 8) in the McClurg Court area of Airbles Street.
Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle subsequently failed a breath test - and was then arrested.
A report on this incident has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
