Staff and pupils of Lawmuir Primary have said a fond farewell to Anne Kane who was a cleaner at the Bellshill school for 26 years.

A group of Primary 7 pupils performed a specially written play at a whole school assembly which was also attended by former Lawmuir staff and representatives of North Lanarkshire Council.

The whole school joined in singing ‘You are a Star’ to Mrs Kane who will be missed by staff and pupils alike.
