Can you rehome clever cookie Kev?

EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.

And this week is the turn of Kevin, who is currently staying at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.

Assistant manager Lorraine Alba said: “Kevin is a handsome Staffie who is aged four and who came to the centre as a stray.

“Sadly we’ve been unable to reunite him with his owner so he is looking for a new forever home.

“He can be quite a shy lad who takes a little extra time to gain your trust and get to know you, so we are looking for a patient owner with lots of love and time to offer him.”

She continued: “Kevin is a sweet boy who would do best in a quiet home without children.

“He loves to play and is a clever cookie who knows commands and even tricks!”

The Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, on Bothwell Road, is open Monday to Sunday, 10am-4pm.
