Costa Coffee franchisee, Cuppacoff SC Ltd, has announced it is opening brand new premises in Motherwell Shopping Centre.
Cuppacoff have taken a 10-year lease on the 2,200 sq ft unit at 99 Brandon Parade South (formerly Global Video), outfitting work starts on Monday and it is due to open in mid-July creating 15 jobs with seating for 110 customers.
Raja Adil, managing director of Cuppacoff, said: “We are really looking forward to opening our new store, and bringing the full Costa experience of great coffee, food and drinks served in comfortable and relaxed surroundings, to Motherwell.”
A Costa spokesperson added: “The store will be run by one of our franchise partners, who will do all that they can to integrate the new store with the local community, getting involved with events; providing the store as a meeting place and helping with fundraising.”
This follows on from the recent opening of KFC and Pure Gym agreeing a deal to come to the town.
William Gear, director of Chester Properties who operate Motherwell Shopping Centre, said: “We are delighted to welcome Costa to Motherwell, giving customers another reason to visit the centre, or stay longer when they are here.
“Costa’s international reputation will add to our well established mix of local and national brands.”
