THE annual prizegiving ceremony at Cardinal Newman High School turned into a genuine family affair last week - with twin Keith and Connor Bradley scooping the top two prizes.
Keith was named dux while Connor won the proxime accessit prize as runner-up to the dux, much to the delight of their watching parents and grandparents.
The two pupils, who turned 17 earlier this month and have just started sixth year at Cardinal Newman, won the awards based on their performances in the SQA examinations where they had the top two sets of marks in the school.
Both achieved five Highers - four As and a B - with Keith just edging Connor out through slightly superior grades.
Headteacher Isabelle Boyd said: “We are immensely proud of Keith and Connor. Both boys play a full part in school life and have managed to balance academic success with other activities.”
