ARRANGEMENTS have been made for Bellshill’s annual Remembrance Day parade and service which will take place on Sunday, November 13.
The parade is being organised by Bellshill Community Council and will marshal within the cadet compound in Noble Road at 10am.
It will move off around 10.20am and parade along Noble Road, Motherwell Road, John Street, Thorn Road, Main Street, stopping at the War Memorial for the 10.30am service which will be conducted by the Rev Darren Darlow from EU Congregational Church.
Music on the day will be supplied by the Imperial Flute Band and Salvation Army Band and the piper will be Hugh Ward
The traditional Remembrance Day service organised by Bellshill Academy will also take place as usual at the memorial outside the school, at 11am on Friday, November 11.
