With a cast of over 90, drawn from all over Lanarkshire, Hamilton Operatic & Dramatic Club present a brand new production of the award winning Lionel Bart musical Oliver! to Motherwell Concert Hall next month.

Based on the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist the show tells the story of the boy who dared ask for more and features many well know songs including ‘Food, Glorious Food’, ‘Who Will Buy’, ‘I’d Do Anything’ and ‘As Long As He Needs Me’.

2012 sees the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Dickens birth and this show provides a fitting tribute to the literary genius.

This production will benefit The Schiehallion Ward at Yorkhill Hospital, Glasgow.

It runs from Tuesday, April 15, to Saturday, April 19, with curtain up at 7.30pm each evening as well as a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost £12-£15 or £40 for a family of four and can be obtained from any cast member, call Alex Black on 01698 264315 or visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/hamiltonoperatic.
