Public asked opinion on Gaelic language

NORTH Lanarkshire Council’s plan to promote the Gaelic language in the area is now available for the public to comment on.

Residents are being invited to give their opinion on the local authority’s draft Gaelic language plan.

A copy of the draft plan can be downloaded from the council website. Paper copies are available from libraries, first stop shops and community learning and development offices.

The consultation will run to Friday, October 21.
