Paula struts her stuff for charity

BREAST cancer and glamour may seem like polar opposites but a Motherwell woman is taking to show you can look and feel amazing after a diagnosis.

Paula Delargy (27) is participating in the Breast Cancer Care Scotland’s Fashion Show at the at The Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday (September 27)

The event is now in its 10th year with Paula, and 19 other exceptional and inspiring models, will be styled in a range of outfits by House of Fraser and be transformed with a top-to-toe makeover expertly applied by Benefit, before they take to the catwalk.

Two shows take place, one afternoon and one evening, with the aim of raising money to support the 48,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer every year across the UK.

Paula is delighted to now be pregnant after her breast cancer treatment, and will be six months gone whilst on the catwalk.

She said: “When I look back over the last year or so my life looks as though it has been lifted from a TV soap.

“This time last year I was going through chemotherapy and there were so many negative things going on.

“Now I just feel so happy and I am so looking forward to the future, it really does feel like a dream.

“I just hope they can find clothes that fit me on the catwalk.”

Tickets start at £60 and details can be found at Scottish Fashion Show.
