IT’S a tale as old as time and it is going to be performed as this year’s panto at Motherwell Theatre.
Beauty and the Beast will kick start panto season in Scotland with an early opening on Monday, November 21 before the run ends on Tuesday, January 3.
More than 15,000 people have already snapped up tickets for this year’s show which has an ensemble of former Motherwell College graduate Leigh Lothian as Beauty; Scott Armstrong as Beast; Alan Mirren as Clarence; Motherwell favourite Ian ‘Sheepie’ Smith is returning as French Franc and Mark Hudson as Dame Di Dolittle.
The cast is complete with Motherwell College graduate Katrina Graham as the Fairy and Jenny Luard as head dancer.
Tickets range from £11 to £13.50 and group discounts are available for groups of six or more (excluding Sundays).
