HE may be unfit to be a regular soldier, but after submitting to medical experiments Steve Rogers becomes a superhero in Captain America: The First Avenger, released on Friday, July 29, at The Vue in Hamilton.
Rogers (Chris Evans) is a bit on the weak side for the American army and so he volunteers for an experiment to make him into a superman: taller, stronger and with incredible power.
Taken to Europe to raise morale during World War Two, he ends up in a head-to-head with the Nazis, but can he survive being frozen? And will he be of any use when that big freeze ends 60 years later?
Action, adventure and some amazing effects make this a supercharged superhero movie as the line-up for 2012’s The Avengers nears completion.
Every week the Times & Speaker and The Extra has three pairs of tickets for The Vue in Hamilton to give away to see any film of your choice.
