EVERY week, Lanarkshire’s top clairvoyant Colette shares her vision exclusively with the Times & Speaker.
Readers are invited to send their problems, dilemmas and even dreams to Colette’s postbag.
She then uses tarot cards and her gift to provide an answer.
Here’s this week’s top question and answer -
Q: My daughter suffers from depression and her marriage has just broken down because of it.
She wants me to ask you if you see her husband and her getting back together?
Will her depression ever get better and will she be happy?
I worry about her all the time and feel I have let her down because I have had depression all my life and now she has it.
I don’t think I have been a good mum and now she is ill and I can’t seem to help her. Please help me.
A: I see that your daughter is getting good treatment but I feel she needs more, one that would involve counselling and talking therapy like cognitive behaviour therapy.
I feel she doesn’t do this because you have in some way indicated ‘it doesn’t work’.
Well, maybe it didn’t work for you, but I do feel it would really help your daughter.
Please encourage her to take all options available to her.
If she takes this step and follows through on it and does what her GP suggests, then I do see quite a big improvement in her health.
This may take some time but would be worth it.
Her husband is worn out. He needs a rest and time away from the depression. Yet his love for her looks strong so I feel I can offer hope here.
But he would need to see her taking action.
You also need to try to stop worrying so much about everything. The stress is not good for you and is starting to affect you in many physical ways.
Please seek help again. Don’t give up. There are other medications and treatments that you haven’t been offered or haven’t tried.
A ‘Paul’ will be very helpful in your journey to health.
