THE snow wasn’t allowed to put a dampener on proceedings as M&D’s Theme Park re-opened its doors for the annual preview at the weekend.

The Strathclyde Park attraction will open properly for the new season this weekend, but on Saturday and Sunday visitors were able to get the fun started a little early.

With over 40 major rides and attractions, M&D’s has something for all the family, all year round - whatever the weather.

Thrill seekers can enjoy an exciting range of white knuckle rollercoasters and rides, including the Tsunami, Tornado, Express, White Water, Flying Carpet, Runaway Mine Train rollercoaster and Captain’s
Curse swingboat ride.

While younger kids can enjoy the Big Apple ride, Big Wheel, Flying Jumbos and the wave swinger.

M&D’s is also home to Amazonia, Scotland’s only indoor tropical rainforest packed with exotic animals, birds, creepy crawlies and plant life, which are unique to any zoo in Britain.

There is also Devil’s Island 18 hole miniature golf and the massive £10 million indoor complex which is home to Glow in the Dark bowling, gigantic soft play area, bars and restaurants and My Pawfect
Bear factory.

M&D’s offer free entry and visitors only pay for the rides and activities they wish to use, with a wide range of passes available.
