Cathy has 100 good reasons to celebrate
Last week she notched up a birthday that so few of us will ever see - after turning 100 years young!
And she celebrated - in a socially distanced way of course- with fellow members of the congregation of Motherwell South parish church in the manse gardens.

Hide AdCathy who is unmarried has played a big part in the life of the area as a former Justice of the Peace and commissioner of the Ranger Guides.
She was also the secretary at the Amalgamated Engineering Union in Motherwell and is a BEM.
Friend Ruth Gray said: “Cathy enjoyed afternoon tea with her niece and a group of friends on the day of her actual birthday and we got the gazebo out at the manse so people could come along and wish her a happy birthday.
“Cathy is a very kind person who is at church every Sunday and who has done a lot for other people and for charities through her lifetime.”
