Recruitment drive for school nurses
Nurses with valid registration who are educated to degree level are being invited to explore another branch of the profession by working in the area’s schools.
Morag Anderson, Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire associate nurse director, said: “The hunt is on to recruit school nurses and we’re urging those seeking a rewarding new career to sign up for our online information session.
“A large element of the work now involves providing effective school nursing services for vulnerable pupils who have been identified as being at risk. This will be achieved by working in partnership with the pupils, young people, families and carers.”
