Cannabis farm found in Uddingston

Police in Uddingston have confirmed that a cannabis farm was found there – and that a number of men have been arrested in connection with this.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers attended a property on Dunvegan Place in Uddingston shortly before 11am on Friday February 19. A cannabis cultivation was discovered within.

"Seven men - aged between 42 and 20 - have been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.”

Meanwhile police have arrested a man last Monday (February 22) in in connected with one housebreaking and two attempted break-ins in the Arran Way area of Motherwell.

The man in his 40s had been detected over the weekend but was quickly traced.
