Four young men from the wrong side of the tracks form an iconic 1960s group in Jersey Boys, out now at the Showcase in Bargeddie.
Jersey Boys is a musical biography of the Four Seasons following their rise, tough times and personality clashes, to their ultimate triumph as their music became symbolic of a generation.
Directed by Clint Eastwood, it gets to the heart of the relationships at the centre of the group, with a special focus on frontman Frankie Valli (John Lloyd Young).
In addition to following the quartet’s coming of age, the core of the film see their code of honour learned on the streets of New Jersey get them through a number of challenges including gambling debts, Mafia threats and family disasters.
The other Four Seasons - Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi and Bob Gaudio - are played by Vincent Piazza, Nick Massi and Erich Bergen respectively.
Jersey Boys is rated 15 and runs 134 minutes.
