Peter Parker runs the gauntlet as Oscorp sends a slew of supervillains against him in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, out now at the Showcase in Bargeddie.

Spider-Man’s most important conflict has always been within himself - the struggle between ordinary obligations and extraordinary responsibilities.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) as there’s no feeling like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone).

But being Spider-Man comes at a price as only he can protect New York from the villains that threaten the city.

With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he is.

And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realise all of his enemies have one thing in common - Oscorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is rated 12A and runs for 142 minutes.
