Following the enormous success of last year’s tour starring Ben E King and Jimmy James, Superstars of Soul 2 returns to Motherwell Concert Hall.

Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band join forces with The Foundations and Jaki Graham, who combined have spent over 150 weeks on the UK singles charts, for one night only on Friday, May 9.

Geno, who scored hits in the 1960s with ‘Water’, ‘Hi Hi Hazel’ ‘Que Sera Sera’ and ‘Michael (The Lover)’ was a contemporary of Georgie Fame, The Small Faces and Jimi Hendrix, all of whom were his support acts back in the day.

Today, even at the age of 70 he is still an electrifying figure on stage, truly a force of nature.

Also performing are The Foundations, most famous for the number one hit ‘Baby, Now That I’ve Found You’ and the ever popular ‘Build Me Up Buttercup’ while Jaki Graham enjoyed six top 20 hits in the 1980s.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets costing £18.50 (£17.50 concessions) are available by calling 01698 403120 or visiting NLC entertainment

A special pre-theatre meal is also available in the Cafe Bar for £10 per person.
