Summerlee Museum industrial history curator Justin Parkes is looking to record the thoughts and feelings of cyclists willing to share their stories for a new exhibition ‘The Perfect Machine’ at the Coatbridge this summer.

Part of North Lanarkshire’s programme for the Commonwealth Games, the exhibition will explore how cycling has developed as a means of travel, recreation and sport over the past 150 years featuring archival and modern film and photographs, a fascinating collection of bicycles and other cycling-related artefacts.
