Pantomime season arrives at Motherwell Theatre next week as Spillers presents the rags to riches tale of Cinderella.

The show runs from Thursday, November 20, to Sunday, January 4, hoping to break last year’s record of 35,000 tickets sold for Wizard of Oz.

Get ready for lots of laughs with Buttons and the Ugly Sisters as Motherwell Theatre makes its annual return to Pantoland for an unforgettable adventure.

Spillers are once again at the helm, following success in recent years with the likes of Wizard of Oz, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast, as the classic family panto re-tells the much loved story of Cinderella.

As usual a brilliant cast have been lined up to entertain across the festive period led by Ian ‘Sheepie’ Smith returning in the role of Buttons.

He is joined by some new faces to Motherwell, as well as some familiar favourites.

Taking the role of Cinderella is Yasmin Galloway with Andrew Goddard and Garry Ellis as the Ugly Stepsisters who make her life a misery.

However, help is at hand from Sarah McArdie as the Fairy Godmother who ensures that Cinderella will meet Prince Charming played by Craig Godsman.

The cast is rounded off by Mike Pannell as Baron and William Cassidy as Dandini, with The Lisa Jayn Dancers, Rory Cubbin, Adam Tench, Courtnay Collins, Kirsty Grant, Rachel Hone and Ashleigh Innes taking on multiple roles.

The Children Of Florize are played by members of F M School of Dance, Garrowhill School of Dance, L School of Dance, Signature Dance Squad, Starstruck, Taylor Douglas and The Valerie Brown School.
