Model Rail Scotland presents the annual Scottish gathering of model railway enthusiasts at the SECC in Glasgow on February 21-23.

Supported by Bachmann, Hornby, Model Rail Magazine and Peco & Peco Publications, around 30 clubs pull together the show which has become renowned across the UK.

This year will see many new layouts from both the member clubs and guests,‘Magic Models’ will be providing a 3D printing demo and Peco will be launching its new ‘SmartSwitch’ addition to the Pecolectrics range.

The show’s demonstration tables and display cases will a feature a vast array of modelling techniques from some of the country’s top craftsmen.

With 20 different societies attending the event there will be something for everyone, including the Scottish Railway Preservation Society, DEMU, Model Electronic Railway Group and Scalefour.

Author and model rail enthusiast Christopher Vine will be signing his books and telling stories for younger visitors.

A vast array of trade suppliers will be in attendance aiming to cover all needs, from those just looking to start out to the finest detail modeller.

Model Rail Scotland is open 11am-6pm on 21st, 10am–6pm on 22nd and 10am–5pm on 23rd, with tickets costing £10 adults, £6 children and £25 family on the door.
