Dylan O'Brien leads the escape form the maze

A community of teenage boys join forces to escape the maze that has become their prison in The Maze Runner, out now at the Showcase in Bargeddie.

Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) wakes up in an elevator finding he remembers nothing but his name.

He emerges into a world of about 60 teenage boys who have learned to survive in a completely enclosed environment, subsisting on their own agriculture and supplies.

The original group have been in ‘The Glade’ for two years trying to find a way to escape through the maze that surrounds their living space and are beginning to give up hope.

Then a comatose girl arrives with a strange note, and their world begins to change.

First time director Wes Ball and debut writers Noah Oppenheim, Grant Pierce Myers and T S Nowlin team up to bring James Dasher’s popular 2009 novel to the big screen.

The Maze Runner is rated 12A and runs 113 minutes.
