Scotland’s travelling art gallery is to pay a three-day visit to Strathclyde Park from tomorrow (Thursday) until Saturday.
Following a link-up with Creative Scotland on show will be GENERATION:TG which is part of GENERATION, an exhibition celebrating some of the most significant artists to emerge from Scotland over the last 25 years.
The exhibition will be open from 11am-4pm at the sandy beach area and admission is free.
CultureNL’s community arts manager Irene Halliday said: “We are delighted to have secured a visit by the Travelling Gallery to Strathclyde Park’s Commonwealth Games cultural festival.
“On show will be the work of five Scottish artists plus new commissions and developments of existing work.
“These include ceramics, textiles, digital animation, drawings, sculpture and film as well as performance and song.
“All in all it is a wonderful celebration of our creative arts during this exciting time.”
The park’s arts festival is open until 4pm Thursday to Saturday and admission is free.
Food, refreshments and toilets are all available.
