North Lanarkshire Council hosts a free fireworks display at Strathclyde Country Park on Wednesday, November 5.
Live music and entertainment provided by Radio Clyde and a funfair run by M&Ds begin at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm and the fireworks go off with a bang at 8pm.
Councillor Helen McKenna, convener of environmental services, said: “Our annual fireworks display is hugely popular, with thousands of families enjoying the free entertainment at Strathclyde Park.
“This event is also organised professionally and safely, and we would recommend that people attend our display for a fun and safe night out.”
The council also holds fireworks displays at Dunbeth Park in Coatbridge and Airdrie Leisure Centre on November 4 and for the first time St Maurice’s High, Cumbernauld, on November 5.
