Easter eggstravaganza at heritage centre

North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre is hosting a fun-packed Easter Monday eggstravaganza.

The Bunny & Co spring animal petty zoo features Betty the hen, bunnies, hamsters and guinea pigs from 11am-1pm and 1.45-3pm.

Giant garden games offer the chance to play Connect 4, Chess and Lego as well as many traditional games.

Tower exhibition invites visitors to enjoy the views from the top of the tower or pick up an activity pack and explore the exhibitions.

Film showings of Easter themed family favourites will be on all day.

Easter crafts allow everyone to get their creative hats on and try making and decorating an Easter bonnet or top hat.

Join in the fun and find the answers to the clues on the Easter trail.

There is also the opportunity to learn about the brave and often forgotten women of the Great War at the centre’s current exhibition Everybody’s Darling: First World War Nurse.

The event runs from 9.30am-4pm and all activities are free except the Easter crafts which cost £2.
