A band made-up of former students from New College Lanarkshire’s Motherwell campus made an appearance on STV’s Riverside Show.

All She Knows performed on the popular evening show after producers heard about the band and their music, which is a mixture of synth pop and rock genres with a modern 80s twist.

Formed in 2012, the band is comprised of bassist Ross MacAndrew from Fauldhouse, drummer Adam MacEachran from Bothwell, guitarist George Cowie from Motherwell and keyboardist Ting Tang from Carfin, who studied on the Music, Rock and Pop course, as well as lead singer Seb Lim-Seet from Glasgow.

They have played at venues including Glasgow’s King Tut’s, the O2 Academy and Indigo2 Arena in London, and appearing on the Riverside Show was a huge boost ahead of the release of their next single.

George said: “Playing on the Riverside Show was an amazing experience. It was something different for us to do and a chance to reach a whole new audience who probably haven’t heard of All She Knows before.

“It was quite daunting to think of how many people were watching the show live so we were practising hard in the lead up, but it went really well and we are very grateful for the opportunity.”

Although the band was formed during the college course, the members have a natural connection and are thrilled that they have been able to continue to create and perform their music.

Ross said: “We all really enjoyed the course at New College Lanarkshire – the staff were really good and the course offered us some excellent opportunities.

“When we formed All She Knows it just felt right. We all have the drive to be successful and it’s just so much fun.

“We are continually surprised at how people receive our music and the support we’ve had, we just hope to continue working hard and sharing our music with as many people as possible.”
