THIS year’s pantomime at Motherwell Theatre will be the enchanting festive treat Aladdin.

For the seventh year the Motherwell show is being produced by Spillers Pantomimes and already over 20,000 tickets have been booked.

The cast met up for the first time last week ahead of rehearsals.

Motherwell Theatre favourite ‘Sheepie’ will be returning as Wishee Washee and is sure to form a hilarious double act with Mark Hudson as Widow Twankey.

They will be joined on stage by Martin Clark as Aladdin, Storm-Skyler McClure as Jasmine, Jamie Bannerman as the Emperor of China, Alan Mirren as Sergent Pong, Scott King as Abanazer and Lorna Thomas as Slave of The Ring.

This year Cala Homes and Frankie and Benny’s support Aladdin at Motherwell Theatre which runs from Monday, November 19, until Saturday, January 5.
