United aim for home comforts

THORNIEWOOD aim to make home advantage count to keep alive their hopes of promotion from Central Division 1.

Tonight (Wednesday) they welcome bottom of the table Blantyre Victoria for a 6.30pm kick-off and on Saturday host Cambuslang Rangers at 2pm.

Bellshill are still working hard to keep themselves away from the wrong end of the Superleague First Division and travel to Ayrshire on Saturday to take on Hurlford United.

Hurlford are currently one place and one point behind Bellshill, but have four games in hand.

Kick-off is at 2pm and a bus will leave Bumble Bee Nursery in Main Street at 11.45am. Anyone wishing to book a seat should call Paul Fox on 749840.
