A BELLSHILL youngster has already zoomed his way to the top of the leader boards at the Scottish Motorcross Championship - despite the season just kicking off in March.
Racer Scott Russell (9) has completed three rounds of the six-round Youth 65 Championship competition taking a modest second place in the first race at Tain, Inverness, in March and snatching first place at Shiplaw, Peebles in April, and winning his latest race at Duns on Saturday.
The bike enthusiast is on par for another great season with him only placing fifth at this stage of the competition last year before finishing second overall.
And his biggest supporters mum Tracey, dad and coach William, sister Chloe (10) and brother Gary (18) will be cheering him all the way to the finishing line.
