Fir Park Corner travelled to Leeds recently to collect their Internet Football Association Scottish league trophy.

The presentation was part of the Worldnet weekend, which attracted fans’ teams from all over the world to Yorkshire for the annual tournament.

Although the Motherwell lads decided against participating this year, three of their number, David Tonner and Scott and Craig Anderson, were in action in the England versus Scotland game. the entire season unbeaten also won the British title.

Manager David Fraser said: “It was great to end the season as champions and to do it in our 10th anniversary season made it even better.

“It’s been more or less the same group of players this season as the last few.

“But they’ve upped their game and dug in so I’m chuffed to bits to have had a bit of success at the end of it.”
