Lee Gallacher maintained his unbeaten professional record on Friday as he took on Alistair Warren at Ravenscraig.
The ‘Into the Furnace’ card was jointly promoted by Bellshill-based Prospect Promotions and Chris Gilmour, featuring a total of six fights.
Gallacher, who fights out of Forgewood ABC, beat Warren 39-37 to end 2014 on a high with four wins under his belt since turning pro in February.
Five of the other fights went the distance as Uddingston’s Michael McGurk beat George Watson 60-53, Coatbridge’s Gary Murray overcame Luke Keleher and Glasgow-based Iranian Mohammad Babazadeh saw off the challenge of Mitch Mitchell 40-37 on his debut.
The only ‘home’ fighter to lose was Irishman Shaun McShane, who now lives in Glasgow, who was defeated 58-57 by Brad Botham.
Debutants Connor Law from Kelty and Aaron Robinson from Lincoln were matched up, but their four-round contest didn’t last terribly long as the Scotsman won with a TKO inside the first round.
