Summer camps hosted by Uddingston Hockey Club at Uddingston Grammar School are proving to be a huge success.
All the children showed a marked improvement in their hockey skills and ability during an intensive weeks of drills and games.
The organisers were excited to see so many new youngsters, keen to join up, among the usual faces.
This is good news with the new season coming closer and many of the older group set to make their debut with Uddingston’s senior teams.
During the first week the kids had a go on the SHU’s inflatable pitch which is available for fans to try at the National Hockey Centre during the Commonwealth Games.
The third of three camps is on from August 4 to 8.
