Beckie delighted to get first degree

After eight years of hard training Bellshill youngster has passed her exam for 1st degree black belt in the art of Taekwondo.

The 13-year-old Bellshill Academy pupil travelled to Gmac martial arts headquarters in Livingston and sat a written exam followed by a extensive physical exam of five hours in front of a grading panel headed by Grand Master Tom McCallum.
