One of Hamilton Park Racecourse’s biggest social events of the summer, Saints & Sinners Racenight, takes place tomorrow (Thursday).
Saints & Sinners, first held in Hamilton in 1965, draws in a bumper crowd of race goers and celebrities enjoying their annual fix of fashion, entertainment, music and racing.
The latest Hamilton Park SuperSeal Super Six fixture of 2014, there will be entertainment throughout the evening including from dance act Dollhouse Burlesque, fabulous action on the track and live music after racing from The Real Easy Band
Another famous tradition sees white or red carnations available for sale at the gates on arrival, depending on whether race goers choose to be a Saint or Sinner for the night, with proceeds raised going to the charity of the same name.
Vivien Kyles, Hamilton Park chief executive, said: “There’s something truly unique about Saints & Sinners Racenight and advance sales indicate we are in for another absolute cracker this year.
“It really is a night for everyone with a fantastic mix of live music and entertainment, against the backdrop of another competitive racing card, not to mention the Saints & Sinners charity benefitting with donations supporting a large number of worthy, Scottish charities.
“However it is the people who really make Saints & Sinners the success that it is and I can’t wait to see all the amazing outfits, especially those with a red or white theme, adding the renowned glitz and glamour to the night.”
Gates open at 4.30pm with the first of seven races at 6.20pm.
Adult tickets are available from £17 in advance while, as at all Hamilton Park fixtures this season, all under-18s can enjoy completely free entry, with under-16s required to be accompanied by a paying adult.
