A TANNOCHSIDE teenager is dreaming of making it into the big time world of rugby league after signing on with crack English side Hill Kingston Rovers.

Louis Senter has joined the ranks of the Stobart Super League outfit’s Academy on a one-year deal and has set his sights on securing a long-term contract with the famous Yorkshire side.

Former Uddingston Grammar School pupil Louis (18) is one of three Scottish youth players to be snapped up by Hull KR after impressing during a two-week trial in February.

Louis and 17-year-olds Daryl Love and Derek McNeil, both from Glasgow, have been played with the Easterhouse Panthers Rugby League club and are hoping to follow in the footsteps of their predecessor David Scott who left the Panthers to join Rovers last year and has impressed to secure a deal with the club’s under-20 reserves.
