Medal bonanza for Strathclyde rowers

MEMBERS of Strathclyde Park Rowing Club continued their winning ways in the Scottish Rowing Championships over their home course.

Despite threatening rain clouds circling Strathclyde Park on both days, the weather remained mainly warm and sunny, with only a mild crosswind at worst and at best a helpful tailwind.

The Strathclyde Park athletes won 22 gold medals in both jumnior and senior events.

Club captain and coach Fraser Quinn said "This has been a fantastic weekend for the club both on and off the water."
