Bellshill hope for change as Thorniewood continue league climb
BELLSHILL Athletic travel to face Clydebank this Saturday, eager to start climbing the Stagecoach Super League First Division table.
Athletic's 2-0 home loss at the hands of East Kilbride left them in 10th place in the league – two places and one point behind Clydebank.
Thorniewood moved up to second place in Central League Division 1 as an injury time overhead kick by Stephen Mullen was enough for a 1-0 win over Dunipace.
Thorniewood welcome Shettleston to Robertson Park on Saturday having previously won 5-3 when Shettleston visited Viewpark for a Surridge Sectional League Cup match last month.
Both Saturday's games kick off at 2pm.
